Climbing and Parkour training in the West Bank
Public Tender nr. 83488922
The Civil Peace Service (Ziviler Friedensdienst) is a global programme aiming to the prevention of violence and promoting peace in crisis zones and conflict regions through the engagement with civil society actors. It aims to build a world in which conflicts are resolved without resorting to violence. The global programme is run by nine German peace and development organisations in many post-conflict and conflict regions worldwide together with local partners and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
As part of the GIZ CPS Programme in Palestine, the Parkour and Sport Climbing project aims at contributing to the reduction of violence among vulnerable children and youth from different refugee camps and hotspots in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. The overall goal of the project is to improve physical, mental health and resilience of Palestinian children and young adults. Children and young adults, especially girls, are strengthened in their self-confidence and self-efficacy. The project objectives are to provide participants with the opportunity to be trained in a meaningful and worthwhile recreational activity, which will strengthen their physical and mental well-being.
Within this context, GIZ CPS seeks qualified locally registered service providers to carry out this assignment and hereby invites qualified bidders to submit their bids for providing needed services.
