Call for Workshop Trainers:
Environmental Sustainability Capacity Building

The United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), in collaboration with Al-Quds University, and funded by the European Union under the QUDSI-R4R project (Quality Urban Development and Sustainable Interventions- Rehabilitation for Revitalization), is pleased to announce a call for applications from qualified professionals to serve as workshop trainers specializing in environmental sustainability.

📍 Workshop Venue: Dar Al-Consul Community and Tourism Center, Old City of Jerusalem

📆 Workshop Timeline: Six sessions over three weeks, scheduled for May–June 2025.

Scope of Work

Preparatory Phase:

• Clearly define specific, measurable learning objectives tailored to environmental sustainability topics.
• Develop a comprehensive training agenda that covers theoretical foundations and practical applications.
• Prepare detailed session plans, presentation materials, and supporting documents addressing key environmental issues.
• Design post-training evaluation templates to assess participant learning outcomes and program effectiveness.
• Establish clear expectations for knowledge acquisition and applied skills resulting from the training.

Workshop Delivery:

• Deliver six structured training sessions, incorporating both theoretical instruction and interactive clearly set hands-on activities.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation, dialogue, and skill-building.

Supervision:

• Supervise and mentor trainees throughout the program, guiding the preparation and submission of individual and group training deliverables.

Eligibility Criteria

• Proven experience in designing and delivering environmental sustainability training, with a focus on promoting sustainable urban practices.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
