Main Purpose of the Position:

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing the procurement process for the Hot Meals Project, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services in compliance with YWB’s policies and donor requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Planning:

• Develop and implement procurement plans to meet project needs.

• Identify and evaluate suppliers to ensure the best value for money.

• Supplier Management:

• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers.

• Maintain up-to-date records of supplier information and pricing.

• Order Processing:

• Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with YWB’s procurement policies.

• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

• Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.

• Prepare regular reports on procurement activities.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.

• Skills:

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Languages:
  Fluency in Arabic and English.
