The English Department at Bethlehem University is seeking an individual to serve as two full-time faculty members to teach at the undergraduate level starting Fall 2025:

1- English Language and Linguistics Courses

2- English Communications Courses

Job Requirements

English Language and Linguistics Courses

Qualifications:

  • A PhD in Linguistics or Applied Linguistics from an internationally recognized and accredited university. An MA in the discipline may be considered.
  • Excellent or near native command of English is required.
  • Teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred.
  • A research profile that leads to publication and preferably a publication record in a peer reviewed international journal in the field is a plus.

English Communications Courses

Qualifications:

  • A Master’s Degree in Public Relations and/or English Communications especially in digital communications from an internationally recognized and accredited university. A PhD in the discipline is preferable.
  • Excellent or near native command of English is required
  • At least, five years of experience in public relations or communications
  • A proven record of teaching and/or training in communication is a plus.
  • The candidate must show ability to conduct research or experience in research activity in the discipline. Publication in academic journals is a plus.
