Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical & Automation Engineer to lead and manage all aspects of electrical maintenance and industrial automation within our state-of-the-art wheat milling and production facility. This role requires a hands-on engineer with a deep understanding of both electrical systems and industrial automation, including PLCs and SCADA systems, to ensure the smooth and reliable operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute all electrical maintenance activities across the facility, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems used in various sections of the production line.

Administer and maintain the SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems for monitoring and controlling plant operations.

Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for electrical equipment and automation hardware.

Support and guide the electrical maintenance team, providing technical direction and hands-on assistance when required.

Collaborate with production and quality teams to improve automation performance, efficiency, and reliability.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company procedures.

Maintain documentation for electrical systems, control panels, network diagrams, and automation configurations.

Work with vendors and third parties for upgrades, troubleshooting, and new system integration.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related field.

3+ years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical systems and automation, preferably in a manufacturing or food processing environment.

Strong knowledge and practical experience with SIEMENS automation hardware, including PLCs (S7 series), HMIs, and industrial networking.

Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical panels, drives, sensors, and field instrumentation.

Experience with SCADA systems (WinCC or equivalent), including system maintenance, backups, and updates.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, and control schematics.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with industrial Ethernet networks (Profinet, Modbus TCP, etc.).

Knowledge of VFDs, servo drives, and industrial communication protocols.

Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure related to automation systems (e.g., servers, switches, firewalls).

Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
