  1. Job Profile

The Country Office Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment in the office premises & Guest house. This role ensures that all areas are cleaned and maintained according to the organization's standards, contributing to a healthy and productive work environment.

  1. Key responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize office spaces, including workstations, meeting rooms, kitchens, and restrooms.
  • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly.
  • Empty trash bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.
  • Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels in restrooms and kitchens.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
  • Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are stored safely and properly.
  • Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the Office Manager/Administrative Officer.
  • Assist in setting up meeting rooms and arranging furniture as needed.
  • Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as necessary.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Ensure that all cleaning activities are conducted in a manner that minimizes disruption to office operations.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as required.
  • Support the office team with any ad-hoc cleaning or maintenance tasks.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.

Job Requirements

    Person Specification 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar cleaning role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks
