Support Services Manager Assistant- Gaza
Founded in 1992, Secours Islamique France (SIF) is a non-governmental organisation for international solidarity with a social and humanitarian mission With a presence in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe, Secours Islamique France assists the peoples through its emergency aid, development and orphan sponsorship programmes in over 30 countries wherever humanitarian and social needs exist, without regard to race, religion or gender.
SIF Gaza Strip (GS) Mission in the Palestinian Territory (PT) was established in 2008, and since then has developed a comprehensive knowledge of the local context and understanding of local needs. SIF GS is a member of the Food Security, including Agriculture, WASH, Education, Child Protection, Health & Nutrition and Shelter/NFIs cluster since many years and play an active role in all cluster meetings. SIF GS also works in coordination with many local and international and humanitarian organizations in the GS and local NGOs to assess, share information and coordinate project implementation with The Palestinian Authority (PA) to obtain authorizations.
DEFINITION OF THE FUNCTION
The Support Services Manager Assistant , is under the Support Services Manager responsibility will work the support services management works’ aspects, she/ he also work in close cooperation with all the team the following :-
-Assist the Support Services Manager in the planning, organization, operation and evaluation of the administrative (HR & Finance) services
-Assist , implements systems, norms and procedures, in compliance with existing policies, for the administration of human and material resources, as well as for the financial management of such processes
-Provide administrative support in the implementation of all SIF –Gaza collaborative work
-Assist in ensuring that all rules, regulations, routines, procedures, are accessible to and known by all staff;
-Participate in contracts preparations/extension for SIF Staff or external advisors/experts
-Provide regular analysis and reports when required.
-Maintain processes to ensure HR and Financial management documentations, reports and plans are relevant, accurate and complete.
-Provide assistance to maintain and update the HR & Financial management framework.
-Supports the technical in the administrative works for the concerned staff.
-Prepare and distribute minutes of meetings.
-Perform any other duties related as may be assigned
-University degree in business administration, financial management, HR or a related field.
-Very good spoken and written English and Arabic/ French is a plus.
-4 years of proven field experience in relevant field, one year at least in INGO
-Computer skills particularly in MS Office applications.
Flexibility, Organization skills, Sense of responsibilities, Analysis and coordination skills, and Good interpersonal skills.
