CHF microfinance program-Ryada-that operates in the Palestinian Territories seeks to hire an IT assistant in its Gaza branch
-Design, install and configure Windows based workstations and servers.
-Provide end users support for all LAN based applications.
-Monitor, diagnose, troubleshoot and correct PCs and related hardware and software problems.
-Identify and recommend hardware and software requirements and updates and assist on procurement of IT equipment
-Train Ryada staff on computer software and packages used by the institution.
-Install new PCs, peripheral hardware and system upgrades.
-Serve as administrator of loan tracking software including troubleshooting, upgrades, and backup and auditing system information on a regular basis.
-Liaise with Ryada loan tracking software on issues related to the loan tracking system including implementing updates, bugs identified, and needed changes.
-Maintain database including updating new users and authorizations as well as enter new products.
-Understand and know loan tracking software functionality and structure and operations manual.
-Identify, develop, and test new software and databases as needed for organization.
-Monitor technology innovations that will enhance Ryadas operations.
-Develop & implement updates for currently in-house built software & modules.
-Troubleshoot connectivity issues in internet and telephony/VOIP system
-Should be experienced in supporting Microsoft products, latest versions of Microsoft Windows & Office.
-Must have a strong familiarity With PC hardware, software and peripherals in a Windows 2008 server environment.
-Experience in advanced networking, firewalls, routers and VPN software is advanced.
-Experience in simple networking and networking protocols is a must.
-Must possess strong analytical interpersonal, and communication skills
-And have the ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
-Requires a Bachelor degree in Information Technology or equivalent degree
-Minimum 3 years of experience in systems (hardware and software) support.
-Ability to write and maintain technical documentation.
-Ability to solve problems and troubleshoot.
