The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Accounting department in day-to-day tasks. Responsible for financial record keeping, Accounting clerk responsibilities include using specialized ledgers and accounting software to record and process expenditures, receipts, payroll and other financial transactions.
-Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
-Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
-Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements.
-Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
-Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database.
-Provide assistance and support to company personnel.
-Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
-Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas.
-Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws.
-Degree in accounting required with three years of experience. Two years Hotel experience is preferred.
-Experience in taxes and hotels’ accounting systems.
-Proficient in Hebrew and English.
-Jerusalem ID holder.
-Strong data entry Skills.
-Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
-Detail oriented, professional attitude and reliable.
-Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
-Strong problem solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge and multi-tasking skills.
-Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
-Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately.
-Must be customer service oriented.
