1. The scope of work:

Videography and photography services to support the documentation of BuildPalestine’s 2025 Fellowship Program: Root. The selected candidate will accompany our team on field visits to 7 social enterprises: 5 located in the West Bank and 2 in the ’48 territories to capture high-quality visual content that highlights each fellow, their enterprise, and their surrounding community. Specifically, the scope includes:

• Portraits/Headshots: A variety of high-quality, professional headshots.
• Action Photography: Dynamic, candid photos of each fellow actively working within their SE context.
• Social Enterprise (SE) Visuals: Photos of the SE’s physical space, products, team members, and beneficiaries.
• Location-based Photography: Photos of the fellows in their hometowns, villages, or cities, ideally with recognizable elements of Palestinian geography or culture in the background.
• A Series of Short Videos: Videos capturing each fellow’s personal journey, challenges faced, current needs, and their vision for a liberated Palestine
• Testimonies that reflect the real-life impact of each SE on its community and BuildPalestine's impact on their work

2. Deliverables

We shall receive the following professional services from the candidate: 

2.1 Pre-Production

• Research and Planning: Conduct detailed research to identify compelling stories for each video/documentary. This stage requires effective communication and cooperation with BuildPalestine’s team.
• Logistics: Coordinate with the team and featured individuals to ensure clear communication regarding shooting days and plans.
   

2.2 Production

• High-end Visuals: Produce high-quality videos and photographs that tell a powerful and engaging story, including videography and photography during all planned field visits and interviews.
• Interviews: Conducting in-depth interviews with the main character, asking open-ended questions to elicit personal and emotional responses. 

2.3 Post-Production 

• Editing: Professional crafting of the final narrative through careful editing to ensure audience engagement through Youtube and Instagram channels. 
• Sound Design: Incorporating sound design and carefully selected music to enhance the emotional impact of the documentary.

3. Qualifications and Requirements
 

• Proven experience in videography and photography, including post-production editing skills.
• Ownership or access to professional filming and photography equipment.
• Ability and willingness to travel across the West Bank as required.
• Creativity and sensitivity in storytelling within community and social impact contexts.
• Preferably has connections with a videographer-photographer, or production company in the ’48 territories, and can act as the main point of contact coordinating with the local team.
