Upgrade Works for 15 Desalination Plants in Khan Younis Governorate, Gaza Strip
Mercy Corps is implementing the project of “Upgrade Works for 15 Desalination Plants in Khan Younis Governorate” funded by: The Coca Cola Foundation and the National Beverage Company. The project requirements must be completed in accordance with procedures, conditions and contract terms, as described in the tender documents. Tender may be picked up at Mercy Corps Offices in Gaza during normal working hours as stated below:
In this context Mercy Corps invites sealed bids from eligible companies in Gaza to participate in the above tender, noting that the execution of the construction work will take place in Khan Younis Governorate.
The following conditions apply:
The contractor must be registered in the official quarters
Prices must be ZERO VAT, and the contractor must provide a Zero Vat invoice
Tender documents can be obtained starting from Sunday, 29 July 2018 during normal working hours, from 8:30 AM to 04:00 PM at Mercy Corps’ Office addresses as follows:
Mercy Corps Gaza Office, Al Mutaz Building #3, First Floor- close to UNRWA HQ square office.
A pre-bid meeting will be held in Mercy Corps Gaza Office on Wednesday, 1 August 2018, at 10:00 AM, to allow the prospective bidders to acquire any information they need about this tender
Last day to receive any request for clarifications is Wednesday, 1 August 2018 before 3:00 PM, to the following email address “[email protected]” with email subject title “GAZ0087/ Coca-Cola / Upgrade Works for 15 Desalination Plants in Khan Younis Governorate – Gaza Strip”
Questions will be answered by Mercy Corps representative by Thursday, 2 Aug 2018 before 03:00 PM.
The tender documents must be delivered by Sunday, 5 August 2018, at 12:00 PM. at Mercy Corps’ offices as stated in the above address in 2 envelopes as per the below stipulation:
Envelope A – Technical Offer & Administrative documentation
Envelope B - Financial offer that include the 5% Bank Deposit of the tender value
The tenders will be opened in two stages:
Stage One: opening of sealed "Envelope A – Technical Offer & Administrative documentation " only, in presence of Mercy Corps Committee only. This session is intended to ensure that all provided administrative and technical documents are complete,
Stage Two: After conducting the technical evaluation, companies’ tenders who will pass the technical evaluation will be invited for Open Public Session for "Envelope B - Financial offer” in presence of MC committee and companies’ representatives, on Tuesday, 7 August 2018 at 12:30 PM at Mercy Corps office according to above mentioned address.
For the un-successful technical offers, their financial envelope will remain close and return back to the company with un-successful notification.
