 Assignment Title: Training Implementation for East Jerusalem Hospitals Network 

The United States Government-funded MOMENTUM Country and Global Leadership (MCGL) project in East Jerusalem provides a range of technical support to six non-profit, charitable hospitals in the East Jerusalem Hospital Network (EJHN).  The MCGL EJHN project is a 2.5-year project that runs through March 2026.  

 As part of its strategy to enhance life-saving services, the MCGL EJHN project focuses on strengthening emergency preparedness, disaster management, and resuscitation services across the network. This includes building the capacity of healthcare providers, improving institutional readiness, and ensuring the implementation of standardized clinical and operational protocols to respond effectively to emergencies and critical care situations.

 The implementation period of the assignment is expected to be 6 months, and the assignment is expected to commence on 15 Aug 2025 

 The implementation of the assignment is expected to be done in EJHN hospitals in East Jerusalem. 

 Jhpiego, now invites eligible Service providers to submit their technical and financial proposals.  

 The shortlisting criteria are: 

  • Demonstrated experience delivering clinical training in resuscitation and emergency preparedness (including trauma and mass casualty management) in hospital settings. 

  • Ability to provide American Heart Association certification for resuscitation skills and other internationally recognized certification for Trauma and Disaster Management, Helping Babies Breathe (HBB), and Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO). 

  • Proven capacity to conduct on-site, hands-on training with doctors, nurses, midwives, and technicians. 

  • Familiarity with hospital emergency response systems and disaster preparedness frameworks relevant to the local or regional context. 

  • Ability to develop and adapt context-appropriate training materials, simulations, and protocols. 

  • Availability of a roster of qualified (certified) clinical trainers with expertise in emergency preparedness, trauma care, and resuscitation. 

  • Ability to access Jerusalem and West Bank.
