Support the strategy of the Ministry of Local Government to improve the competencies of staff working in local government units in municipal finance

The Local Governance Reform Program of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ-LGRP) supports reform measures in the local governance sector in Palestine in partnership with relevant national institutions such as the Ministry of Local Government (MoLG), the Municipal Development and Lending Fund (MDLF) and the Association of Palestinian Local Authorities (APLA).  The program is financed by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMZ).  GIZ-LGRP aims to contribute to the objective of enhanced performance of Local Government Units (LGUs) by supporting different outputs.

As part of this framework, GIZ-LGRP is committed to supporting public administration reform efforts by enhancing the fiscal performance of local government units. In close collaboration with the Ministry of Local Government, the program aims to strengthen the professional competencies of local government staff in financial management. This will be achieved through targeted consultancy assignments and capacity-building initiatives.

Within this context, GIZ- LGRP seeks qualified locally registered service providers to carry out this assignment and hereby invites qualified bidders to submit their bids for providing needed services.
