2023-2025 Initial Expression of Interest for Partners

CONTEXT

UNICEF is the agency of the United Nations mandated to advocate for the protection of children's rights, to help meet their basic needs and to expand their opportunities to reach their full potential.

UNICEF’s latest Area Programme Document (hereinafter APD) for Palestinian children in Jordan, Lebanon, The Syrian Arab Republic, and the State of Palestine (SoP) 2023 to 2025 was approved by UNICEF Executive Board in its Regular Session in February 2023. The APD part related to the State of Palestine is in line with national development plans of the Palestinian Authority, the recently approved United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF), as well as SoP’s engagements on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Furthermore, the objective is underpinned by the aspirations for children and young people globally and in the SoP as enshrined in the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
