Partners for Sustainable Development (PSD) are a not-for-profit, non-sectarian organization established in 2009, whose mission is to achieve sustainable community development by improving and building capacities and skills of its members especially the youth. Through service learning and educational projects, PSD is developing communities and youth to self-initiate their own sustainable projects, while empowering women to build their own businesses and vocational skills and maximizing local resources.
Part of PSDs current efforts is the “iCode ” project, in collaboration with the USA consulate (AH) and funding by the U.S consulate in Jerusalem iCode project will be implemented in a duration of 3 month ,which aims to improve Palestinian youth skills by equipping them with ICT skills , such as coding and computational skills, as well as practical 21st century leadership skills, implemented in partnership with the U.S. consulate general in Jerusalem, Participants from universities and recent graduates will receive 20 hours of practical and theoretical training and Coaching, which as a whole; will allow them to develop sustainable community initiatives.
-3 year experience in the field of programming training (Html5, Java, PhoneGap).
-University degree in IT, computer engineering, or any related field.
-Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
OBJECTIVE OF THE ASSIGNMENT
The objective of this assignment is to deliver 20 training hours for 15 university students using TOT training manual.
The Technical Training aims to provide university students with html5 programing language and to enhance their capabilities in delivering and managing training sessions to school students. Through the training, the trainees will be able to conduct training on html5 and visual programming to solve real-world problem.
