A local leading company working in FMCG desires to hire a distinguished IT Supervisor
-Engage with business heads to assist the various departments with achieving their goals through innovative application of technology.
-Develop IT strategies in partnership with business for the short and long run.
-Planning for achievement of strategic objectives; manage the execution and evaluation of results.
-Architect the IT infrastructure and lead the implementation of changes.
-Manage information technology and computer systems
•Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of information systems and electronic data processing (EDP).
•Develop and implement policies and s for electronic data processing and computer systems operations and development.
•Meet with managers to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines.
•Hire and manage information systems personnel and contractors to design, develop, implement, operate and administer computer and telecommunications software, networks and information systems
-Ensure technology is accessible and equipped with current hardware and software
•Troubleshoot hardware, software and network operating system.
•Be familiar with all hardware, software and network operating system.
•Provide orientation to new users of existing technology.
•Train staff about new potential uses of existing technology.
•Provide individual training and support on request.
•Provide recommendations about accessing information and support.
•Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources.
-Implement and execute proactive maintenance, monitoring and support processes to provide a stable and reliable IT platform to the business.
-Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures recommend, within departmental policy, appropriate service and staffing levels.
-Respond to the needs and questions of computer users concerning their access to resources on the network, stand-alone personal computers, or attached devices; assist in problems relating to various software programs as necessary.
-Project management: develop scope, determine schedules, manage expenses and coordinate resources necessary for successful completion.
-Draw up the IT budget in consultation with all business divisions and manage implementation.
-Identification of all IT policies required for the business and development thereof.
-Ensure compliance with all forms of IT licensing agreements.
-Ensure security of the entire IT system and integrity of all company data.
-Maintain sufficient level of technical expertise to troubleshoot IT issues and effectively manage external experts as needed.
-Keep up to date with trends and new technologies on both line of business and general IT requirements.
-Provide strategic, budgeting and disaster recovery/business continuity planning to offices and staff in multiple operating, business and functional units.
-Responsible for monitoring data backups in offices to ensure that they are completed on a regular basis.
Candidates must have the following qualifications:
-A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in computer science, information Technology or related field.
-Minimum of 3 years technical experience designing, installing and supporting Microsoft Windows Server networks, using AD, Exchange and SQL server applications
-Minimum 3 years technical experience in networking, telecommunications and wide area network design.
-At least 3 years technical experience with virtualization technologies Hyper-V and VMWare.
-Good people skills; ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical teams.
-Excellent Coordination, planning, administration skills.
-Flexible: able to adjust easily to rapid change, a strong sense of urgency and able to work well under pressure.
-Technical problem solving, analytical and decision making skills.
-Proven experience in ERP and Business Intelligence.
-Proven ability to manage multiple projects, while paying strict attention to detail.
-Project Management and IT Service Management Certifications will be of advantage
-Proficient in MS Office applications (word processing, spread sheet, etc.).
-Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Arabic.
-Strong personality, initiative, self-reliant and cooperation.
-Excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
-Excellent facilitation and classroom management techniques to deliver training.
